Michael Cahill is Vice President of Development at Core Investments, Inc. He joined the company in September 2021.
Michael, what did you do before Core?
Most recently I was senior project manager with Rockhill Management in Boston, where I oversaw commercial development and construction projects. Prior to joining Rockhill I managed development projects at Harvard University and with Samuels & Associates. I also dipped my toes into my own business, where I co-owned a fitness company made up of CrossFit gyms.
Where did you go to school?
I did my undergrad at Fitchburg State University and my MBA at Bentley University.
And where did you grow up?
Reading, Massachusetts. I went to Reading High School.
Where do you live now?
I live in Boston, in the South End.
What do you do to have fun outside work?
I’m an avid CrossFitter, as you might imagine. It’s a big part of my life. I also enjoy camping, hiking and international travel.
What’s a favorite place of yours in Boston?
I love the South End — beautiful architecture and great restaurants.
