Craig Forman

Craig Forman is Assistant Controller at Core Investments, Inc. He joined the company in 2019.

Craig, what did you do before Core?

I worked for Barkan Management for about 10 years. I started off there as a property accountant and moved up to accounting manager. I primarily worked on condos and master associations.

What do you actually do for Core?

I do all sorts of things right now, from managing the funds and movement of money for the company to monthly and quarterly financial reporting on the properties. I’m also involved in the corporate accounting functions.

Where did you go to school?

I went to UMass Amherst.

And where did you grow up?

I grew up in Taunton, born and raised. Now as an adult I’ve settled there with my wife, who is also from the city. I went to Taunton High School.

What do you do to have fun or outside work?

I like being outside after being in the office all day. I like doing yard work, taking on a project around the house, that sort of thing. I play cards here and there — a local game called “45”, which is kind of like spades. It’s not really well known outside the City.  And I played in a pool league for a long time.

What’s a favorite place of yours in Boston?

I don’t know if I necessarily have a favorite place, but in general, I really enjoy getting out and walking around and taking in the sights and seeing all the people. I really like it. It’s such a bustling city. I like the energy, the feel.  It’s great to work and socialize here.
