CoreCares

Giving back is our Core ethos

About

We put people first, looking out for our employees, partners and those who live and work in and around the places we make.

Our people-first, attitude inspired the CoreCares initiative, which is our public service arm. CoreCares is led by our Experience Program Manager Katey Yang, who works for our partner Cushman & Wakefield, spends her days organizing fun community arts programmes, neighborhood clean-ups and much more, always with the emphasis firmly on fun and connection.

It’s about people
CoreCares for everyone in the Core family, from our team members to the people living in and nearby the communities we work in.

Uplifting neighborhoods

We improve and refresh the environment around our projects, starting by picking up trash, improving safety, and connecting with the community.

Serving the vulnerable

We partner with local organizations that serve the disadvantaged – supporting their work with our time and resources.

Creating opportunities

We believe that everyone in our communities has incredible potential. We create local jobs, provide training, inspire students, and equip workers with the knowledge and skills to achieve more.

Caring for our team

We strive to build a great workplace culture and environment that prioritizes wellbeing, provides outstanding benefits, and encourages our people to give back to the community.

CoreCares Updates

Core Investments and Save The Harbor team took to the South Boston streets, filling 11 bags of trash for the CoreCares Cleanup event.

Robert Cummins of Cushman & Wakefield alongside MA State Rep. David Biele & MA State Senator Nick Collins spent time distributing FDA-approved disposable face masks as part of our CoreCares initiative.

CoreCares managed a successful ongoing donation drive in partnership with Pine Street Inn, supporting our community, particularly focusing on the Black, Latinx, and other underprivileged populations throughout Boston.

Capturing the final round of deliveries for the second production run of GrandTen hand sanitizer as part of our CoreCares program. Very proud of our team’s ongoing efforts within our South Boston community!

Land donations

We love land and are passionate about place. Each new project inspires us to learn more about the people who live there, the history that took place there, and the potential for improvement that lies there. Our passion for place has led us to donate 23 acres of land across Massachusetts to organizations that run local ecological, historical and architectural conservation initiatives. Take a look at some of the latest projects we’ve helped.

Partners for good

We are proud to give back to the people who work so hard for our communities. To the amazing grass-roots organizations that we partner with – thank you.
